Weekend in Buenos Aires, Argentina

I had to make a "visa run" so we decided to take a weekend trip to Buenos Aires.  Basically I needed to leave Uruguay for 24 hours in order to stay an additional 3 months.  We stayed in this great area called Palermo Soho at the Vain Boutique Hotel.
Our Saturday was pretty rainy but still spent a majority of the day walking around seeing some of the main sites. First stop was to visit Casa Rosada, the Presidential Palace.
The Presidential Palace is also famously known for the balcony where Eva Peron "Evita" gave her speech.

18th century Cabildo, only remaining building of its period in Monserrat
On Sunday we had a late flight so we went to La Boca neighborhood so I could see Juniors futbol stadium and the famous Caminito street.

Caminito street has lots of great restaurants and shops.

Our taxi driver recommended this restaurant, La Cabrera, which was down the street from our hotel.  It was fantastic! Highly recommend for anyone visiting Buenos Aires.
Food portions were huge!

It was definitely a quick trip. Would love to go back and spend more time exploring the city, drinking more wine and sinking my teeth into more delicious juicy steaks.
